Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today cautioned people against the "politics of alliance to grab power" in the state where assembly elections
are due shortly.
The Chief Minister, who was addressing public meetings at Hassanpur in Palwal and Tigon in Faridabad, questioned the existence of opposition parties in the state.
Slamming the Centre, he said that despite its promise to check inflation, prices of essential commodities have increased during last three months. On Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, Hooda said the case was before the Supreme Court but efforts were being made to resolve the issue at the earliest so that Haryana got its due share of Ravi-Beas waters.
